Great video! I actually do almost all of these already. Here are a few things I was surprised by: 100 dollar bills, cologne and pills. First, the Benjamins…
have you ever had a problem with having a bank accepting the bill? In South America, I’ve had serious challenges with them. Maybe I’ve had bad luck, but the people/banks there don’t have a way to test it, and there are apparently a lot of counterfeits.
I was so shocked when I heard the word “cologne”! I always want to pack some, but I ultimately decide it’s not worth the risk of having that expensive liquid confiscated or the bottle breaking. I’m also, too, lazy to use a dropper to put it into a smaller container. I L.U.V the idea of solid cologne! Very cool.
For pills, I’ve been using HumanGear “GoTubb”: http://www.humangear.com/gear/gotubb
I love it, because it’s a more packing friendly shape, and it’s surprisingly secure, yet it’s easy to open. Since I pack a variety of vitamins of liquid, powder, disolvable, etc types of pills, I put a piece of cotton and a PillowPak to absorb any of the moisture that might damage the pills. It’s a silly and low cost item, but it’s seriously been a great change for me. Definitely check it out. The Medium 5.3 cu in. size has been perfect for me. I recently put 18 days worth of a variety of medications and vitamins with plenty of room.
On the comment where you said ” you can’t afford to be hungover and miss a day ” that happened to me during my trip to London. I had planned to go to the London Bridge but was entirely too hungover to go the next day. That same day the terrorist attack happened on the bridge. I went straight from being bummed about missing a day, to thankful I didn’t go, and bummed about the attack. It was really strange honestly. Maybe it saved my life, who knows?
Dave Alan it definitely saved your life!
So was most of London! 🤣😂
Wow! That’s a heavy story!
Thanks for the tips! I’m starting to research for my trip in August coming up and have definitely decided that less is more.
Great advice guys! I always try and pack with minimalism in mind
Journal is definitely necessary when you’re traveling! Thanks for helpful advice, guys and moments like 6:59 😉
+Péter Szántó 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I travel for business, and i totally agree with what these brothers have suggested.
Regarding the prices, all the products mentioned have cheap alternatives that can be found on amazon, all you need to do is find the right one for your needs.
to everyone complaining about how these products are very expensive and such – a very important aspect of minimalism that i have learned is that sometimes it is best to buy a quality item that will last a long time as opposed to a cheaper item that you may have to replace many times!!

Truth! I’m always happy to drop a couple more bucks to buy quality craftsmanship
There is difference of being expensive due to hype or quality. Also I have used some products where I switched from expensive to cheap and was far more satisfied.
I agree! Buy quality once, not junk two or three times. quality last.
I just want to tell u,
The beats have the least quality
Very expensive,
And cannot be used for a long time
Why is everyone so hard on them? I agree that the budget is on the high end but they are sharing what works for them, take what works for you and leave the rest behind. Safe travels everyone
Yeah, no kidding. Did they say it was low budget? Good travel gear is an investment – especially for professional travel vloggers.
+Barbara Dosen amen. Thanks Barbara 🤙🏽
This video is amazing! Thank you. (I didn’t even know a universal plug adapter existed– I thought you just had to buy one for each country!) Also thank you SO MUCH for captioning your videos and making them accessible!
Awesome tips bros!! cheers
+Estevam Pelo Mundo muito obrigado Estevam!! 🙌🏼 any tips of your own to add?
Instead of an eye mask, pack a bandanna. I’ve used mine as an eye mask on the plane, a smog mask in Beijing, a neckerchief in the sun, and of course as an actual bandanna. Plus it rolls up into the size of a travel shampoo and weighs next to nothing.
I also pack a length of 3mm shock cord. I’ve used it for clothesline, emergency belt.
Maria lne you were not the only one…
I read banana😂😂😂
Yeah I use a buff
Try a buff
Carrying 5 or so of the semi-nice but cheap ponytail rubber bands can be used for a gazillion things on their own and combined with things like the 550 cord. I’ve used them to adjust tent sizes, hang things, control cables and clothes and yadayada.
Great tips. All of them. I travel like 4 times per year and I thought I was good at this, but you opened my eyes to a few things I usually forget, or I just never tought of. Thanks guys!!
+Marta Martrix thanks for watching and commenting Marta! Hope you remembered to give a thumbs up and subscribe! Safe travels 🙂
loooove it, great guide guys 🙂 I’m def going to look into solid perfume!
+Amanda Round the Globe thanks Amanda! Safe travels 🙂
These boys are not on a tight budget. $140 for a passport/credit card holder… seriously?
Word.
They can afford that kind of thing bc now they have more money but that doesn’t mean you need to buy that expensive stuff
@The Traveling Together Journal legendary
Someone who owns Beats doesn’t do their research. I wouldn’t take their advice on products.
How many condom can we bring..64 pack ?
Compartmentalizing is definitely my favorite thing when traveling. I have about 6 different fabric bags with a zipper. One for flight: USB plug, 3in1 cable for phones, eyemask, toothbrush and earplugs. The Second got camera stuff and third got chargers.
Best thing I’ve learned. And also those vacuum bags which you can roll out the air is amazing saver for space.
-Antti/Lanttimatkat
I bring packets of condom when i travel which i use to collect all the sands and soil from different places for my sand and soil collections.

@Ge Sud Haahahaah lucu lu bangsat
@Kaylina Burch and i thought u meant her vagina 😅 that she got some stand stuck in it and you got it out and saved it
…
@draqon ofwhitestars it’s a makeup compact case. You know, that powder stuff that women smudge on their mugs to hide blemishes? 😆
@Kaylina Burch so than… What exactly is a “foundation case”?
Arvin the Real G It works pretty good to me😂
True. We love their videos.
Sweet! Looking forward to seeing those. It’s been recommended to me by various people.
+Mindy Altermatt awesome! You will love it there!
Flying into Paris and taking the train to San Sebastián and then on to Barcelona. Found your channel when researching Basque Country 😊
