My recent trip to Goa was in Oct 2021. This was my first experience to to travel Goa during lockdown and I thought to make this vlog to cover all the travel limitations and focus on what’s new since the covid impact in Goa. I’ve been to Goa from Mumbai for more than 15 times since 2009.

In this Video I'll share the Pandemic Travel Rules to travel to Goa, Budget for goa, double vaccine benefit in goa, hotel stays in goa and hostel and zostel stays for backpackers in goa.

1. The best time to visit Goa is from Dec to Feb because most of the Indian tourists are gone in December and January so it's little less crowded and mostly filled with Russians. NEVER EVER VIsit Goa on 31st of December. NEVER!
2. Best way to travel from Mumbai is by train if you get down at Thivim. Always book ticket in such a way that you will reach Goa early morning .3 tier AC is more comfortable option. You shouldn’t be tired in your journey or else you will lose the whole next day resting at your hotel. I don't recommend flight because to travel from Goa airport to North Goa takes more than 2-3 hours. If you are travelling from train and if you get down at Madgaon then it's even further from North goa.
3. Rent a bike immediately from outside station because public transport in Goa is not as good as metro cities also if u hire a taxi then it will be very expensive. They charge hell lot of money even for short distance and Ola Uber aren’t available in Goa. Traveling from Goa airport to North Goa or from Madgaon to North Goa they charge around Rs. 1500 for private taxi. Bike traveling is more fun, and you will enjoy fresh air and beautiful scenery in Goa.
4. Getting a hotel is very easy in Goa. Use Trivago because almost all hotels are listed on Trivago and you can compare hotels rates and find the best deal. You have many guest houses. don't spend too much on expensive hotels. Remember you are going to use hotels only to sleep. You can pre-book or after reaching Goa you can search for guest houses or hotels. There are too many and easily available.
We stayed in resorte marinha daurada in Arpora, Goa on our first 2 days. Then 3rd day we moved to grand vatika resort in Arambol, Goa. 4th day we moved to leoney resort in Vagatore, Goa.

5- Best place to stay in Goa is near Anjuna, Vagator beach, Arambol Beach or Calangute-Baga beach. More you go towards north more peaceful environment you will get.
6- Places to visit Keep one whole day for south goa. Dona Paula is in South Goa so visit that in the evening and during the remaining day you can visit church. museum and all. Keep the remaining days for North Goa because the real peace lies in North Goa. Early morning and evening is the best time to roam around in Goa. Always spend the afternoon in a shack on a quiet beach. Don't roam around one beach to another beach. They all are same almost. Spend one evening at Goa’s Chapora fort and one on Arambol beach. These are my two favorable spots in goa. But strictly visit them in evening when there is no heat from sun. Don't waste time on Calangute and Baga beach they are too crowded just like Juhu beach. Vagator and Anjuna are better beaches. Even water sports are available on these beaches which you can do in the afternoon time and spend the evening on the same beach or Chapora fort which is 5 min away from it.
7- Goa Casino- go to Deltin royal casino which is in Panaji, North Goa if you are interested at 7.30 pm only when the food starts. You will get food and drinks for free also there is live show which you can enjoy. Also, females will get some coupons to bet in casino which if you are lucky then you can convert them to money and get back all your entry fees. Do not play in casino with your money. You will never win. Casino always wins. Don’t spoil your Goa trip by losing fuckload of money. Have food and drink. Enjoy live show and place that coupons on bets. If you win leave if u lose leave.
8 – Spend your last day on a quiet goa beach doing nothing specially in the evening and just enjoy the beach and silence and leave at night
9 – Try to take a comfortable return journey so that when you reach your home you shouldn't be tired but fresh. Whatever is convenient you can take the route .I preferred car in my journey.
